St. Peter Winterfest takes place annually in late January and early February and is coordinated by the St. Peter Area Chamber of Commerce.
Winterfest was January 24 to February 8, 2014 and included several community events.

Throughout Winterfest and for the whole winter season
Ice skating at Veterans Park is free. Warming house is open 4 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
Shoeshoes can be rented at the recreation office or at the Treaty Site History Center for $5 per day or $10 for a weekend and can be used in town or out of town.
