Every July 4, the St. Peter Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host more than 10,000 revelers for the Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The Old-Fashioned Parade and Picnic in the Park quickens the pulse of the community with excitement of live music, variety of food vendors, children’s activities, a chili dog eating contest, and spectacular fireworks display. This event blends old traditions with new attractions and promises to provide entertainment for all ages.

- Noon – 4 p.m. Picnic/activities
Minnesota Square Park
- 10 p.m. Fireworks
- Nicollet County Fairgrounds

In Minnesota Square Park, Pending for 2021:
Food vendors, beer tent, chili dog eating contest, hula hoop contest, Comedian/Magician Michael Callahan as emcee, live music, activities for kids including inflatable obstacle course, and activities for kids by the Saint Peter Recreation Department. Join the party in the park!
