Explore the clothing of Elizabeth Harkin Russell, the daughter of Alexander Harkin, made and worn in the 1870s and 1880s, including her 1888 wedding dress made of purple wool crepe and velveteen.

The store is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4 with programs on Sunday afternoons 

from 1 to 4 pm.  The gift shop is open the same hours as the store and has books, toys, unique and

hand crafted items and 10 cent candy.

Admission to the program is included with your site admission of $6 adults, $5 seniors, college students, and veterans & active military, $4 children ages 5-17 and Free for children age 4 and under and Nicollet County and Minnesota Historical Society members.


The store is located nine miles northwest of New Ulm on Nicollet County Road 21, or the bottom road, 

or nine miles east of Fort Ridgley.  Nicollet County Road 21 is under construction so follow the detour

signs or call the store when open at 1-507-354-8666 for directions
